What Hatteras does to a car.
This is the far end of the beach, and the Cape Point ORV ramps see more 4x4 beach driving than anywhere on the Outer Banks. Salt water gets into the frame, brake lines and the underbody and starts rust within the season.
Who we see here
Mostly beach-driving 4x4s, charter-boat tow trucks and the Ocracoke ferry traffic. Buxton, Frisco and the streets around the Hatteras ferry docks are regular stops.
What usually fixes it
A Full Detail once, then an Express Wash every few weeks. Beach drivers add the undercarriage rinse. Anything heavy gets a price before we start, not after.
